Wilfrid S. Kendall

Wilfrid Kendall is a probabilist working at the University of Warwick: he arrived there as a lecturer in 1988, expecting to stay five years or so. More than a quarter of a century later, he is still there! He is also proud to have been associated with the University of Hull (his first job) and the University of Strathclyde (where he learned that Glasgow is Miles Better). He's always been fascinated by the interactions between probability, geometry, statistics and computing. He continues to marvel at the richness of the way in which these areas interplay, and their remarkable range of applications.
