Ajanta Chakraborty

Ajanta Chakraborty is a founder, speaker, author, and cultural educator. She is the co-founder of Chicago-based Bollywood & Culture Groove, which spreads the joy of Indian culture through movement and literature and has impacted 5,000+ individuals over the past 15 years.

She is the award-winning co-author of the 16-book series Maya & Neel's India Adventure that has sold 85,000 copies worldwide. She works extensively with schools, libraries, and corporates and has conducted almost 500 cultural workshops.

Ajanta has a Master's in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia and a Senior Diploma in Bharatanatyam from Prayag Sangeet Samiti.

Ajanta is the recipient of the International Purple Dragonfly Book Award, Corporate Woman of Achievement award by NAWBO, YouTube Silver Creator Award, International Impact Book Award, Best Dance/Music Company CEO from WE Awards, and more.
