Samantha began as a software engineer at Altsys Corporation, later acquired by Macromedia, working on the graphics program FreeHand. Her teams worked in an Agile way before the term was coined. Her expertise in real-world development provides a unique advantage in editing and presenting information aimed at those new to Agile developments. Samantha is also the editor of the #1 Best Selling book Scrum Narrative and PSM Exam Guide in smashwords.com. Being a trained facilitator for The Knowledge Academy, she has access to students new to Scrum and Agile and their interest in SAFe, which allows her to continuously update publications to address ambiguous areas.
