William Hefner

Architect William Hefner (AIA) is the founder of the Los Angeles-based firm Studio William Hefner. His practice encompasses built and restoration architecture, interior, furniture, and landscape design and architecture, with a focus on the holistic integration of building, interiors, and the natural environment. With a versatility in both traditional and contemporary architecture, Hefner has designed a number of landmark estates over the years in a variety of styles. His distinguished and distinctive portfolio illustrate Hefner’s treatise is to design homes that inspire, nurture, and transform the lives of the families who inhabit them.

William brings the same refined properties of custom residential design to his work in various multi-family, hospitality, and commercial projects. Additionally, Hefner’s interest in environmental building, both antique and modern, has led to the application of sustainable architectural practices through his career. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Kazuko and their son.
