Brandon Callor

Brandon Callor was born in Price, Utah. He was influenced by Italian, Irish, Dutch and Japanese parents and grandparents. He matured quickly while attending junior high school out of necessity when he lost his cousin and best friend by suicide less than a week apart. He has been a member of various peer counselling groups and suicide prevention research ever since. "Life After Suicide: The Impact of Suicide on the Ones Left Behind," is his first non-fiction published book. Callor works as a medical examiner assistant for the state of Utah and has focused on suicide prevention research with the University of Utah for 25 years. His organization, Links of Courage, believes that suicide is preventable as long as the right approach is taken with each individual.
