Lon Torman

LON TORMAN began his writing career directing public relations for an airline before transitioning into travel writing and editing for a group of travel magazines. A former publisher of Holiday magazine, Lon has written travel articles for GQ magazine and others during a travel writing career that took him on assignments to over fifty countries. Over the past thirty years, he has lived and worked in Brazil, the Bahamas, the Philippines, the Netherlands and England, soaking up the unique cultures in each locale. Together with his wife, Carmen, Lon has also developed an action/thriller set in Brazil’s Amazon rainforest. That novel is scheduled for publication in 2020.
