Martine van Elk

Martine van Elk is a professor of English at California State University, Long Beach. She received her MA in English from the University of Amsterdam and her PhD from Rice University. She has published primarily on Shakespeare, vagrancy, and early modern women and is currently pursuing her interest in comparative study of early modern women from different countries.
