Andy Willimott is a historian of modern Russia and the Soviet Union. Winner of the Alexander Nove Prize for his book 'Living the Revolution,' he has published on the social and cultural history of revolutionary Russia and the Soviet Union, with a particular interest in the formation and experience of radical ideology. He is Associate Professor in History at the Queen Mary University of London, previously having taught at the University of Reading, UCL School of Slavonic & East European Studies, and UEA.
