Patrick Jenning is a Southern California writer with a special interest in the history of Los Angeles in the early twentieth century. He is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara and has an MA from California State University at Northridge. While his degrees were in English Literature, he spent most of his career in the computer industry.
He continues to write about Los Angeles. His new book is entitled The Long Winding Road of Harry Raymond: A Detective's Journey Down the Mean Streets of Pre-War Los Angeles.
