R.D. Roberts

R. D. Roberts was born and reared in Oklahoma. After college, he taught in the public schools of Oklahoma for two years. Following graduate school in Texas, he assumed a position in Arkansas before moving to South Carolina where he has resided and worked most of his adult life.

He is married and has three daughters and six grandchildren. His hobbies include photography, writing and traveling. He has traveled extensively both in the United States and abroad.

While he wrote articles and did other writing throughout his career, including writing for a children's music magazine published in Nashville, his first novel was not published until he retired.

He enjoys telling a good story be it fiction or the biography of a lady who once resided in the family home while teaching in a one-room school in the community.
