R. Anthony Martin grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a young man he was profoundly affected by a racial profiling incident that caused the death of an innocent man. After earning his master's degree in public administration from the University of Pittsburgh, he relocated to New Jersey to pursue his career as a technical writer. The shooting of four minority athletes on the New Jersey turnpike by the State Police, propelled him to write his first novel, "Broken Places."
R. Anthony Martin currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia where he is working on the sequel to "Broken Places."
