Ellis James Stewart

Ellis J Stewart is from County Durham in the UK. He has a degree in e-Commerce and a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. His favourite mountaineering book is Dark Summit: The True Story of Everest's Most Controversial Season (2008) by Nick Heil.

The book Ellis wrote about his two attempts to climb Everest (Everest: It's Not About the Summit) has now sold over 30,000 copies in all formats, Paperback, Hardcover, Kindle & Audible. The Kindle version is regularly featured in the top ten of the mountaineering category on Amazon UK. His second book, Misadventure, was released in October 2021.
