Heather D. Shover is an inspiration and relentless health warrior shining the path to true healing for mothers and their families. A devoted wife and adoring mother of two, Heather lives with her family in Dallas, Texas.

Heather has an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to business school, Heather spent five years as a management consultant with Deloitte. Most recently, Heather works in Commercial Real Estate, where she has built a successful career over the past 10 years.

After suffering for 27 years with chronic eczema, Heather’s primitive mommy instincts sparked an insistent search for healing when she discovered signs her young son might be plagued with the same itchy, painful condition.

Thanks to many tireless nights reading countless medical websites, Heather stumbled upon her answer. She now believes beyond a shadow of doubt that she was divinely guided to a different way to heal.

Heather was guided to the revelation that her long-time eczema diagnosis was in fact a dreadful addiction to the topical steroid creams prescribed to treat her. After immediately stopping the steroid creams, Heather entered the estimated one- to three-year period of excruciating withdrawal called TSW (Topical Steroid Withdrawal).

Incredibly, Heather’s healing was accelerated to a matter of months through functional medicine, nutrition, and detox.

Now eczema free and loving it, Heather feels called to teach and inspire healing to the scores of frustrated families all over the world who suffer from eczema or other chronic diseases and are not finding relief.
