I have been an executive coach and organizational development consultant for more than 25 years. The work of my life is about helping people get clear about what kind of future they want for their organizations and then how to create that future. Much of what I do is aimed at making leaders more effective at engaging people in positive strategic change. That work has taken me from the floor of auto plants to the board rooms of Fortune 500 companies; from small local nonprofits to major universities. The books I write focus on innovation and change and how to shift the culture of an organization so that it can be the author of change and not its victim. I am proud to have been one of the developers of the Whole-Scale (tm) approach to organizational change that is now used by consultants around the world. What keeps me going are the new challenges of this changing world and finding ways to understand and respond to them.
