When I was 10, I encountered the animated "Redwall" series, which started me down a path of avid reading. However, the books would not come fast enough, and so I set out to begin writing my own stories at the age of 14, but the first book was not successfully produced until I was 17. Since then, I have completed 10 books, with more in the works. Each novel is connected to the others, featuring woodland animals, astronomy, and interesting ships!

I was born in California, grew up in New Mexico, and I love woodcarving, drawing, and walking through nearby wilderness area. My favorite movies/TV shows include "Star Trek," "Doctor Who," and "Treasure Planet." My favorite authors, in addition to Brian Jacques ("Redwall") are C.S. Lewis ("Chronicles of Narnia"), Richard Bach ("The Ferret Chronicles" and "Jonathan Livingston Seagull"), and M.I. McAllister ("The Mistmantle Chronicles").
