Dr. Jim Jones

Jim was born in Illinois and is the oldest of 6 children. He graduated from high school in 1966 and entered the Navy for 4 years. His military service gave him an experience that most individuals do not get. He traveled to Antarctica and spent the first 2.5 years in the Navy flying back and forth from Christ Church, New Zealand to McMurdo Sound as a crew member on a C-121 aircraft.

Jim has worked in retail, wholesale, education, healthcare and owned two convenience stores prior to returning to complete his master’s and doctorate at the University of Illinois. He is currently consulting in the areas of higher education, human resources and talent based organizational development.
