Leigh Barrett

Leigh Barrett has been writing since she was able to hold a pencil (okay, it was a crayon back then).

'Kate's Heart' and 'Islands of the Blessed' are her first ventures into writing fiction in around three decades. Both books feature strong, and sometimes vulnerable, women characters, facing adversity in their careers and finding their way through to love.

Up next: a three-book saga. It is the story of an exceptional family, weaving in and out of other characters' lives as they each heal from individual traumas. Told with empathy and humor, the reader will hopefully fall in love with these memorable people as they go on their journeys to wholeness.
