Cynthia enjoys hiking and sketching outdoors, then creating abstract landscape paintings using oils or acrylics. She loves working with color and sharing her knowledge with artists of all levels of experience. She has taught college-level art classes since 1995, and recently retired from Chemeketa Community College. She currently teaches privately at her own studio in Salem. Her paintings can be found at Raven Rocks Gallery in Depoe Bay, Oregon, and Fog Forest Gallery in New Brunswick, Canada. She lives in Salem with her partner and a very loud cat.
