Sunny Istar Lee is The Generational Money Mentor™, a financial advisor, author, podcast host, and founder of Money Master Kids. She helps families build essential money skills early and protect their legacy for the people they love.

Through Money Master Kids, a platform for teaching children financial life skills, Sunny and her team of volunteers have reached more than 100,000 families worldwide since 2007. As an invited speaker for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), she has also trained more than 50,000 financial professionals around the globe to teach children about money early.

Sunny is the host of Before & After YOU, a podcast that helps families get their financial house in order and prepares their heirs to know what to do when it's time to claim what's left. She created the show for her own family, her clients, and anyone who wants to make that transition easier for the people they love. As she puts it, legacy planning isn't about numbers and paperwork. It's about dignity and care, for you and for the people you leave behind.

Based in the greater Los Angeles area, Sunny is a certified financial coach, an Investment Advisor Representative, and a 12-year life member of MDRT. She is the author of several books, including Is Your Child a Money Master or a Money Monster? and Peaceful Money. Her work has been featured by CBS News, LA Parent Magazine, and USA Today Magazine. In 2022, the National Council of Financial Educators named her Financial Educator of the Year.

Sunny is the proud mother of two children and lives by a philosophy she often shares: a mom teaches her children to live, but an eagle mom teaches them to soar. That spirit runs through Peaceful Money and Eagle Parenting, the two frameworks she teaches side by side. Both aim to raise confident, self-reliant flyers rather than dependents.
