I am a fiction writer with a special interest in writing for the young adult age range or those with that energetic mentality who like action adventure and don’t blink at a smidge of paranormal or science fiction thrown into their stories.
As a life-long learner who gets jazzed over new concepts, I learn most from young adults willing to challenge what the generation before them considered absolute limits. Just when I think I'm getting out there on the edge I meet or read about someone who has blasted past that space like it was at a standstill.
Now when those concepts reveal something about the distant past as well, I have found nirvana! With a background which includes archaeology, the military and medicine that was bound to happen.
Shared governance in the nursing profession is a favorite subject for me when I turn to non-fiction. Nurses who govern themselves deliver the best care to their patients and influence the other professions to improve as well. Wonder where else that same concept might work?
I write for the fun of it and for the mental stimulation. I love feedback- doesn’t matter if it is positive or negative because the engagement stimulates the learning and the learning creates the energy. Can’t ask for more than that for how you spend your days.
