Emily V. Bastien

Writing a book at any age is a significant accomplishment, but in an era where one in four American children grows up without learning how to read, Emily V. Bastien, is one of a kind. She began reading at the age of four and at just seven-years-old, she wrote and published her first book - Aqua Tales. Her passion and persistence made her book Aqua Tales a reality.

Emily is avid reader who loves to create her own stories. She is now nine-years-old and has released her second book - The Fearless Fantabulous Five. Being a published author and international speaker, Emily proves that age is not an obstacle when kids are determined to achieve their goals. Emily continues to share her passion for reading and writing at schools, churches and conferences throughout the United States, Europe and Caribbean Islands.
