Justin Hughes

Justin Hughes was born in NW England and educated in Liverpool and Southport. After school, he served a year in the Army with the Royal Engineers in Germany before studying physics at the University of Bristol.

After a year of doing very little in Asia and Australia, Justin joined the RAF where he spent 6 years as a front-line fighter pilot and 3 years as a display pilot on the Red Arrows. On leaving the RAF in 2003, he founded Mission Excellence , a consultancy which partners with organisations committed to high performance (enquiries@missionexcellence.com).

In addition to his Mission Excellence's consulting work, Justin is a renowned speaker on high-performance, leadership, decision-making and risk. The Business of Excellence was published by Bloomsbury, in September 2016.
