Eric Forrest

Eric Forrest is a teacher, writer, and editor from Omaha, Nebraska.

When not teaching short story classes or reading, he's writing and usually to further a cause. "The Scythe Prize" (editor and publisher) is meant to provide a platform to college writers seeking experience, recognition, and confidence. "Their Little Keeter" is a children's book and moral tale. Proceeds from these books have been and will be donated to charity (Nebraska Humane Society, March of Dimes, Bailing Out Benji). A former college golfer, Forrest also wrote an instructional golf book, "Discover. Journal. Progress."

Forrest has also presented research at the National Baseball Hall of Fame, procured a Little Free Library for his neighborhood, mentored many young writers and students, and runs a long-standing blog (www.petsinomaha.com) that advocates for animal adoption and responsible pet ownership.
