Anthony M. Murphy

Anthony Mason Murphy was born in 1983 in Kokomo, Indiana, a rusted factory town north of Indianapolis. After spending more than a decade working in government, Anthony moved to Asia where he spent several years teaching, traveling, and writing. Upon his return to the United States he devoted himself to the craft of writing, publishing his first poetry book, Musings & Meditations, in 2016. In 2017 Anthony won an award for his poem “Sons of the Shamrock and Thistle” at the Celtic Classic Poetry Contest in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He now resides among the green mountains of the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania with his wife, daughter, two short-haired Korean cats, and a beloved ball python.
