David Coggins is the author of "The Believer: A Year in the Fly Fishing Life" (Scribner), "The Optimist" and the NY Times best-seller "Men and Style." He writes The Contender, a newsletter about style, travel and design. His work has appeared in Esquire, The Financial Times, Bloomberg Pursuits and Condé Nast Traveler, among other publications. He lives in New York.
