She now resides in Wellford with Her husband Keith ,They are the parents of Deirdre,Erich, Brandon, And Xavier.

Kennedy is the founder of EmmaParaLee Inc.in honor of Her Grandmothers,Emma Mack and ParaLee Gregory,

And Marie68 Young Adult Series in honor of Her late best friend,Marie Nay Dillard.

Kennedy is the Author of That's It!,I Quit! I'm Movin'On!...Keep Movin'On!....Ain't Nobody's Business If,I Do!

And a collection of urban Anthologies.

Kennedy often sets Her stories in Her beloved hometown of Greer SC, And gives much homage to many

Of the landmarks in the city, Characters although fiction are named for friends she has known over the years...Yet although characters are loosely used as a vehicle for appreciation and not on the content of their lives.

Also books are titled after Sam Cooke songs,Yet are not on the subject of Her fave singer,Who was gone four years before Kennedy was born....Just Her way of paying tribute to the man who she has idolized since age 4

Kennedy loves History....And Prides Herself as Being more Sam Cooke Than Thou!!,Each of Her books are titled after Sam Cooke's songs,However the characters are fiction,And Are in no way,shape or form reflect upon Mr.Cooke who died in 1964,And the Author,Kennedy Brown was not born until 1968.Works are only to keep Sam Cooke's genius known,A genius She discovered at age 4
