Mr Tim Acklam

Tim Acklam is a native of Essex, England, who currently lives in Basildon with his wife and young son. Whilst working as a service engineer, he went on to earn his GCSE and studied psychology, counselling, and a level 4 in Psychology and Counselling, as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Acklam has always had an active imagination and a love of telling stories. He has written a number of children’s books, as well as two adult adventure novels, and is passionate about working to improve with each project that he takes on.

It took me along while to pluck up the courage to publish my first manuscript, I had always toyed with the idea of getting published I never however thought that my English and grammar was good enough. It took the birth of my son, and the thought of showing him that he shouldn't be scared to follow through with things, to take the leap so to speak.
