Steven Barker

Steven Barker is a 2014-2015 Made at Hugo Fellow, and the co-founder of two of Seattle's most popular and long-running reading series “Cheap Wine & Poetry” and “Cheap Beer & Prose.” His first book, a collection of essays called, “Now for the Disappointing Part,” will be released by Skyhorse in November, 2016. His arts and entertainment podcast, Ordinary Madness, hosts writers, artists, and musicians who practice their craft in the Pacific North West. His work has appeared in Salon, The Weeklings, Split Lip Magazine, The Monarch Review, Geekwire, and elsewhere.
