Okan Topçu

Okan Topçu is a Professor in the department of Computer Engineering at the Middle East Technical University, Northern Cyprus Campus (METU NCC) serving as the Head of the Academic Board of Engineering and Natural Sciences. Professor Topçu received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from the METU, Ankara, Turkey in 2007 and 1999 respectively. His current research interests include modeling and simulation, distributed simulation, agent-based simulation, intelligent agents, autonomous systems, software engineering, model driven engineering, cybersecurity, and creative evolutionary systems. In last 15 years, he contributed various research and development projects and managed to publish 2 books and more than 25 papers in national and international conferences, workshops, and journals.
