Verdel Jones

Verdel A. Jones is the College Planning Expert and the author of, The Parent Agent: How to Represent Your Child and Get Them Into the College of Their Choice. She has been an educator for over 20 years as a teacher, school counselor, and district level administrator.

Verdel continually provides her community with valuable resources regarding various educational topics and passionately presents this information to parents and students. She has visited hundreds of colleges, and she is able to articulate what to look for in a college that will meet the needs of your children. Her extensive knowledge of the college exploration and selection process; current educational issues; and the social and emotional challenges students experience, make her an expert in her field. Being a teacher at heart, her passion is focused on sharing conversations that inform and enlighten. In carrying out this work she produces and hosts; Conversations with Verdel Jones TV and Conversations with Deli Radio.

Verdel received her master’s degree in educational leadership from Long Island University, a master's degree in secondary education from Hofstra University, and obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts at Boston.
