Typhanei Celeste and Rayven McCoy (1979-) were born December 17, 1979 in Roanoke, Virginia. The family moved to Florida in 1984, where they've lived ever since. Although they're many interests are varied, they both had a flair for the arts and entertainment.
Typhanei began acting as a child, winning an award for her performance in adult theatre at the age of fourteen. She began learning guitar at nine and by twelve, she was writing songs, which morphed into poetry by age fourteen. She studied Theatre Arts in Community College, and loves researching, especially in the fields of science, history, mythology, and the arts. She concentrated her efforts first on acting, music, and writing. Unfortunately, she had to stop playing the guitar while in her first band, due to injury and illness in her twenties. It was then she began writing prose and focusing on her pictures, following in mother's footsteps as an amateur photographer. Due to her strong interest and love of film, she continues to work on writing screenplays and plans to attend film class to pursue her dreams of being an auteur. She has one novel-sized manuscript, as well as a novella she is currently editing for publication. She has several short and flash-fiction stories, a screenplay, a plethora of poetry and songs, and is currently a finalist in the Able Muse Fiction Writing contest of Spring 2016.
Though she experiments with various genres she feels most at home with horror and psychological thrillers she calls "MindF*ck Express". She continues to write while helping take care of her beloved mother, with whom she lives.
Rayven McCoy took a bit different path, specializing in journalism and studying mythology, philosophy, and theology. Unlike her sister, she enjoys a certain level of anonymity and pure independence. She calls herself the "Chief Writer ofthe Underworld's 9th Level" and enjoys horror and gore on a grand scale. She takes credit for claiming a sub-genre she calls "New Wave Horror" in which strong gore and horrific characters and plots take place in reality. She continues to write and make art using various mediums.
Both believe reality to be a figment or psychological construct in a vastly misunderstood universe.
