Deborah Harmes, Ph.D. is a lifelong writer, photographer, and artist.
During her years as a newspaper journalist and photojournalist, Deborah maintained active membership in the NPPA (National Press Photographers of America) and SPJ (Society of Professional Journalists.
From Europe to the USA, to New Zealand and Australia, Deborah has written and lectured for almost two decades, sharing visions she received of our now-unfolding society and planet.
As a global citizen, Deborah enjoys an unconventional, eclectic, well-travelled life. Her writings include published articles, ghost-writing for PR firms, contributions to poetry anthologies, and her non-fiction books, The Dreamkeeper Messages and its sequel, Darkness Folding Inward, Light Emerging. Photo-essay books include Brief Bits of Barcelona, Echoes of Place, and Midnight In The Station.
The first book of a trilogy, Gifts of Ash and Sorrow is her debut novel.
