Richard B. Dwyer

Born in California, I grew up on the East Coast. I spent many summers traveling with my family from Florida to New Jersey and on up to New Hampshire where my mother was from. A couple of years ago I had a sestina, One Life, Traveled, published about our many wanderings.

My travels continued as a young U.S. Marine, until leaving active duty and finally settling in Las Vegas for a while. After a few years, Vegas lost its glitter and I moved on - East Coast, then West Coast, and now, Texas. Got here as fast as I could.

I've been a Marine, an Army National Guard soldier, a government employee, a writer, a teacher, a business owner, and of course, a traveler.

I am a lifelong learner and I have always enjoyed sharing the lessons I have learned with others. My own education continues as I write and study in the fields audio-video production, animation, fiction, screenwriting, and Christian apologetics. Most recently, I am discovering the world of writing children's books to help young Christians defend their faith. My personal motto is "If you really want things to change, then you actually have to do something!"
