Abbas Zaidi

Abbas Zaidi is a Pakistani researcher, journalist and fiction writer with training and qualifications in English literature, linguistics, systemic-functional grammar, and journalism. He has worked as a sub-editor, assistant editor, and columnist for various newspapers, and taught English literature, academic writing, and journalism in Pakistan, Brunei Darussalam, and Australia. Two and a Half Words and Other Stories is his first collection comprised of stories published in, inter alia, Exquisite Corpse, New York Review, New Partisan, eclectica, GOWANUS, The Salt River Review, and Killing the Buddha. The Infidels of Mecca, his first novel, will soon be available.
