W. A. Welbourn

I was born in the foothills of Mount Shasta, California, a place of natural beauty, spirit and inspiration. My parents fully supported me in my adventures. They never said "Don't do that!" They said "If you try something, do your best!" Learning was their main goal for me. After that, they turned me loose with my face toward the horizon. Skiing and hiking on Mount Shasta, swimming in sacred rivers in summer (the McCloud, the Sacramento), motorcycle riding, photography, music, arts and crafts on every level. All of this can be loved, written of and enjoyed. Only recently have I had the desire to put my art and words on paper for public view. Another horizon to achieve. Follow along if you wish. There is always a new adventure out there.
