Imogen Taylor

Imogen Taylor is a British children’s author-illustrator.

Imogen writes and illustrates The POWEs (the Protectors Of Wildlife Endangered) - a beautifully illustrated children’s book series that centres around two children on a mission to save endangered wildlife. The books feature a powerful message on the importance of conservation.

Each story is set in a different country, featuring the animals that live there and the unique environmental problems they face.

Whisking children off on exciting adventures all around the world - the POWEs books are not only fun, they teach children about the environment, about wildlife and how they can make a difference to their world.

A percentage of the profits from each book goes directly to wildlife conservation.

The first book in the series is "The POWEs and The Disappearing Tusks”. Set in Africa, this adventure sees the POWEs save the elephants and rhinos by coming up with an ingenious plan.

The second book in the series is "The POWEs and The Lost Jungle". Set in the jungles of India, this adventure sees the POWEs use their imaginations to get the animals home again when their jungle home is threatened by deforestation.

A passionate conservationist, Imogen wants to encourage in children a passion for wildlife and wild places, believing that if children fall in love with wildlife they will grow up wanting to protect it.
