Daniel Glass Jr

My name is Dan Glass, and I am a writer from Amish Country in southeastern Pennsylvania. For the vast majority of my life, I have lived either in Berks or Lancaster County with exception to my time in the Air Force. In those days, I was stationed in England (a place that I stayed after leaving the military in 1995). For an early 20-something guy, I couldn't imagine a better place to be in those days. Since my time back in America, I have immersed myself in finding America and enjoying its culture, geography, and history to truly understand what it means to be American. In addition, during that time, I have taught English to students at the college level (Fall of 2018 is my 18th year in the profession). I am definitely proud for having the opportunity to show students what good writing can do for them while also being inspired and learning from them. In addition, throughout my life, I have always been imaginative. As a child of the Star Wars generation and a person who was exposed to many other great ghost and alien stories as well as many literary authors, I wanted to create something other people could just sit down and be immersed in a saga of heroic men and women. Because of this, I combined my love of action / supernatural stories together with the skills that I have taught students to be better writers in order to showcase a series of tales that people who like action / the supernatural / the American West will truly love. While not writing, I am spending time with my wife, traveling, hiking, listening to music, feeling inspired by other creative works, watching baseball, or being a son / brother / uncle / friend. Oh yeah, and I also have Parkinson's disease, which is something that affects my life, but it doesn't keep me from living my life. Remember... when you have the choice to live passionately or stagnantly, go for the gusto. You never know when King Kong and Godzilla might rampage.
