David Jordan

David Jordan has been actively involved in the IT industry for over 25 years and is founder and President of Pacific Computer Consultants. David’s approach to IT is through the lens of cybersecurity and reducing his client’s business risk associated with threat actors.

Out of his over 25 years in the technology industry, David has spent the last 20 being an IT consultant and business owner directing a team to make sure their clients have the right technology to move their businesses forward while keeping them safe as possible. Prior to starting his company in 2003, David served in many technical roles from companies as large and diverse as Chevron to small local technology businesses as part of the internal IT team.

David holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the University of the Pacific. In addition, he holds the following computer and information security certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GFCE), and Certified Penetration Tester (CPT). David has been featured in Fast Company Magazine and has co-authored the Amazon Best Seller Easy Prey How to Protect You Business From Data Breach, Cybercrime & Employee Fraud. David is a member of several cyber security and IT professional peer groups and frequently travels to conferences and seminars, staying current on industry news and trends.

David’s expertise includes: Cybersecurity risk mitigation, Small Business IT Consulting, Microsoft technologies, virtualization, cloud computing, wireless access, mobile and remote computing, mobile device management, collaborative computing efforts, VOIP Phone Solutions, and backup and disaster recovery solutions.

He is on this ride called life with his wife, two daughters and two rescue dogs.
