Joyce A. Thomas-Vinson

Joyce Thomas-Vinson, also known as Duchess Thomas, is a wife, mother, sister, employee, friend, and Christian. She met her husband, Edgar, in college and has been married since 1992! She has two wonderfully stubborn children, Jared and Adriel, whom she loves dearly. Joyce earned a degree in English from the University of Alabama, and has worked in higher education more than 25 years at the University of Alabama, Auburn University, and Southern Union State Community College. She strongly believes education is the key to getting where you want to go in life. Her ultimate purpose in life is to improve the quality of life for those she comes into contact with. Teaching and writing gives her the opportunity to encourage and inspire people daily.
