Robin E Hirsch

Robin Hirsch(born Miami Beach,Fla in 1951) spent 39 years as a TV Cameraman/Director of Photography telling stories with images, but he always had a passion for writing. Robin's writing career began ten years ago with the publication of One More Time, a funny and quirky look at how turning fifty sends a man off on a hilarious midlife crisis adventure. A few years later Robin delved into the nonfiction world and published THE HISTORY OF IMAGE GATHERING an oral history of his life and times as a TV Cameraman. It is a remarkable work that follows the image gathering process from16mm news film, to 3/4" videotape, then to betacam, and finally digital media. This book is full of amazing tales and real experiences as told by Robin and his professional colleagues. Most recently Robin has published DBA...Doing Business As which is a how-to book that examines the do's and don'ts of self-employment. Since he spent much of his career self-employed, which included running an production equipment rental house, this is a subject Robin is well versed in. Next, not sure yet, but there is something coming up you can be sure.
