Janet Nesbitt

Janet Rae Nesbitt is a quilt and fabric designer and the owner of One Sister LLC, a web-based quilt-design company. For 18 years, she owned and operated Buggy Barn Inc in Reardan, Washington, and designed the popular Buggy Barn line of quilt patterns and Henry Glass & Co fabric collections. Now, she has a new adventure well underway as One Sister, where she continues to design both quilt patterns and fabric for Henry Glass & Co.

Janet has always been an avid scrap quilter with a passion for mixing prints and plaids that incorporate a unique sense of color. In this new phase in her career, she is enjoying focusing more of her time on creating fun and whimsical designs through her popular Crazy piecing technique (stacking fabric, cutting on the lines, shuffling, and stitching it all back together again!) Janet takes pleasure in sharing quilt patterns that inspire creativity and put a smile on quilters' faces.
