Aran Jane

Aran Jane is an American author. His novels are imaginative, thought-provoking suspense thrillers, incorporating futurist technologies and the paranormal among more general interests in physics, metaphysics, philosophy, politics, and espionage.

Jane attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, where he majored in Chemistry. At twenty-one, he left the chem lab to join the brokerage firm of Dean Witter Reynolds in San Francisco, becoming one of the youngest stockbrokers/commodities specialists hired by that firm.

Three years later, at twenty-four, he launched an entrepreneurial career spearheading companies delivering high-tech solutions across various industries, from finance to healthcare.

Jane credits self-discipline and a strong imagination for his success in business and as a novelist. Mondragon (2016), a sci-fi adventure, his first novel; The Water Column (2020), the first in the Lila Piper Mystery Series, a tense psychological thriller, his second; and The Lowering (2023), the second installment in the Lila Piper Mystery Series, his third, have all landed on Kirkus Reviews’ recommended list.

Jane lives with his wife, Sheri, in Carlsbad, CA, and enjoys walking on the beach and playing classical and jazz guitar to recharge his imagination when he’s not at his computer hammering out his next book.
