B Marie

B. Marie is a native Bostonian with roots stretching back to Tulsa, Oklahoma. One of the members of the Original Steppers of Boston, a Chicago Stepping dance group, she is also a retired educator and administrator of Sharon Public Schools and Boston Public Schools in Massachusetts. After 39 years of classroom instruction and teacher administration, she has now turned her attention to her love of writing. Loving the art of writing since childhood, some of her favorite genres include biographical fiction, history, and poetry.

B.Marie currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts with two of her three daughters, her son, father and two grandchildren. Love & Lies is her first novel. As many reviews have already noted, it is a sterling beginning. Soon to be published will be her first children’s book: Tulsa: The Day My City Died, a fascinating book based on the tragedy in Tulsa, Oklahoma known as Black Wall Street.
