Lola

I'm a wife, Mom of 3, Mom-in-law, Gramma to 7, Great-Grandmother sister, aunt, with cousins by the dozens. I love spending quality time with my family, friends & extended family. We currently reside in Nebraska.

My pen name, Lola, was created by merging the first two letters (LO) of my name with the first two letters (LA) of my husband's name. He is my proofreader, encouragement and support.

I've always loved WORDS! I appreciate puns, word games & creative writing. I've enjoyed writing original music with Christian lyrics, Christian poems and other poems in the past. This year, I felt overwhelmed with passion to write my first novel, 'Love Grows in Omaha'. I have hopes of writing sequels about the Young Family. My favorite stories are about love, family and commitment. I enjoy watching movies and reading books that are romantic comedies. I'm currently in the process of writing my 2nd novel which is also a love story.

My hobbies/interests include singing Karaoke as a member of an online community, camping in our RV, picnics by the lake, baking, photography, creating art, listening to relaxation music and lots more. These hobbies help me cope with multiple health challenges on a daily basis. I'm also hearing and vision impaired. My favorite flowers are pink sweetheart roses. I wish you all love, peace and joy!
