Hugh Heinrichsen

Hugh Heinrichsen is a Child Development Specialist, author, and pastor who helps people grow in confidence as wholehearted humans—at home, in the classroom, and in everyday life. He holds a master’s degree in Human Services Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family, and brings over 25 years of experience in leadership, education, and community care.

Hugh is the founding pastor of NewRoseburg Church in Roseburg, Oregon and serves in the public school system, where he teaches and creates social-emotional learning content that help kids thrive. Whether writing for children or adults, he blends storytelling, insight, and practical wisdom to inspire growth, connection, and hope.

He lives in Oregon with his wife of 25 years, where they share a love for great food, deep conversation, and creating spaces where others can flourish.
