Malcolm Silver is the president of Malcolm Silver & Co. Ltd. His initiative, The Peace of Mind Real Estate Solution, is a simple and easy way to add real estate to investment portfolios. Malcolm has more than twenty years experience in the investment and financial services industry. Malcolm’s real estate portfolio comprises properties that are underperforming at the time of acquisition, with a view to renovating and increasing rental values to market levels. His acquisitions are guided by a simple philosophy – buy buildings that offer positive cash flow and long-term capital appreciation in downtown Toronto locations that are slowly gentrifying. His personal passion for real estate inspired him to package attractive real estate opportunities for investors. Malcolm is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and has an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
