Kay Smith

Author Kay Nimitz Smith is a retired college professor living in the Pacific Northwest with her family, her two cats, her goldfish, and her Golden Retriever named Charlie. When she isn’t scheming new book plots, she enjoys reading, being crafty, watching films, avoiding housework, and perfecting her culinary skills. Smith is inspired by her husband’s work in law enforcement, the personalities of people she meets, and the many scenic areas around Portland, Oregon that make it such an ideal destination for tourists and a great place to dump bodies.
