Jennie Ensor

Hello, I'm Jennie Ensor, a Londoner with Irish heritage. I live with my husband and our Airedale terrier in London and spend a lot of time in the mountains of south-west France. I write dark-themed, daring fiction from cozy crime to psychological suspense and 'domestic noir'.

I began my writing career as a freelance journalist, writing investigative pieces on subjects from corporate malpractice to forced marriages, turning to writing fiction in my thirties. As well as novels, I write flash fiction and poetry. In my spare time I wander mountains, wild swim, sing, and practice yoga and mediation. Lately I've been reading a lot of psychology-oriented non-fiction & memoir.
