W.L.W. Borowiecki

Mr. Borowiecki is a fervent believer in making books inexpensive to read, otherwise "it's too expensive" becomes yet one more reason for not reading. So, he prices his books on the low end just so that more readers will avail themselves of the opportunity to read.

That said, Mr. Borowiecki retired as a top-rated engineer after spending more than 40 years working for a living in jobs such as manual laborer in an ice cream factory, crawling through sewers as a safety engineer, planning out organizational realignments, product development, class development, testing new designs, mentoring, and many other things through those years.

There's still more to learn but that sense of humor needed to get through all those years is still present... And 40 years is long enough to spend on work, so now it's time to play.

He's also venturing into the world of fiction novels, mainly adventure and mystery based, because that's the type of story he likes to read. It's easy enough to find stories about how to make your life better or easier, but stories that allow you to forget your own troubles for a while should also be a part of your regular reading, otherwise you'll never be able to see past your own nose. And of course, there are other "off the top of my head" writings.

He’s written a couple handbooks on how to be successful at work and in general life because there is a basic need by younger people to accelerate their learning of what it takes to be a success. Then there's those "other" writings that may bring you some humor.

Now that he is retired, there’s a whole new set of puzzles such as why their Basset hound wants to drink water out of the hose and not his water dish, and why the zucchini plants are putting out lots of flowers but not developing actual zucchini. His spare time is spent with flower and vegetable gardening, reading historical fiction, walking the dog, going to the local gym, and getting a good night’s sleep not invaded by having to figure out what to do about that nagging problem in the office tomorrow morning
