Cynthia Spivey

Cynthia Flick Spivey travels, eats and talks to people who will listen about her adventures with Paleo. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a degree in Communications & Media, which proved useful during her corporate writing career in New York City in the 1980s. She altered her career path to raise three children -- born from her own womb in three different countries -- while learning about cooking, nutrition and cultural foods. Based in Santa Barbara, California, her favorite Paleo treat is wine.
